There are both advantages and disadvantages of establishing a shopping mall in our neighborhood. I am worried about the traffic and how it will affect our community. However, I believe it will benefit local businesses and increase appreciations for our local area. Overall, I think it is a good idea.

For those that I am worried about, traffic congestion and parking problem are obvious. First of all, traffic congestion is always a concern when building something new. Our streets are narrow, with parking on both sides. A shopping center will certainly bring more traffic than ever before, and heavy traffic means big congestion. At the same time, parking is also a problem in this area. There are few garages attached to houses. Most of residents depend on finding spaces on the street for parking. If a shopping mall is built, we must compete with customers and patrons for those parking spaces. Furthermore, if the shopping center offers valet parking service, it would be even worse because valet parking works in terms to grab every possible space available in street.

On the other hand, building up a shopping center will give this neighborhood more opportunities and benefits. Residents in this area could certainly take the job that shopping center offers. People would earn more money and spend on other businesses, such as entertainment and education, which are operating in our neighborhood or adjacent communities. As a result, not only local businesses but also inter-community businesses are boosted up and a prodigious amount of fortune will be accumulated to our neighborhood. A shopping center can also attract people to visit our community. When they drive to the shopping center, they will see what a nice place this area is to live. Therefore, we would have an increasing number of residents in the next couple of years. It is very important to introduce new population because we have lost many residents to suburbs during recent years.

In a short, there are several details to consider when planning a shopping center. In my part, I support to have a new shopping center in my community because its advantages outweigh disadvantages.

The cheetah is a wild animal. The cheetah has got a long tail and small ears. It is yellow with black spots (пятна). It lives in Africa. It is the quickest animal in the world. It can run very fast. It hunts (охотится) zebras and other animals.

My name`s Sasha and I`m 9. I study at school 11 in the city of Cherkassy, in the fourth form. My parents did their best to make my inner world and the world around me interesting and harmonious. I pay much attention to my studying in school, but besides it, I`ve got lots of hobbies: I go in for sport dancing and take classes in the art school. I also take care of my pets and I`m fond of travelling.

Our dance group performed in many cities of the Ukraine: Yalta, Kiev, Odessa and Kanev.

I try to express my attitude to the world around me through my art works. Some of my paintings were shown at exhibitions. My view of the world through my artistic images was awarded prizes.

As we are all parts of the surrounding world I always treat "our dumb animals" gently. In our family we love two guinea pigs a lot: Ritchie and Sunychka. By the way, a black one, Ritchie, got its name after the great guitarist Ritchie Blackmore. I get a great pleasure from a contact with animals while I feed them. We have a very merry dialogue.

I constantly try to broaden and beautify my world. Every year my family and I go to different parts of our country and abroad to get new impressions, discoveries and knowledge.

The majesty of the Northern Caucasian and Crimean Mountains, the soft Black and Mediterranean Seas, the calmness and wisdom of Carpathian forests make us treat surrounding nature with love and respect.

I love my world!

Меня зовут Саша, и мне 9 лет. Я учусь в школе 11 города Черкассы, в 4 классе. Мои родители постаралисьсделать мой внутренний и окружающий мир интересным и гармоничным. Я уделяю много внимания учебе в школе, но кроме этого у меня есть много увлечений: я занимаюсь спортивными танцами и учусь в художественной школе. Я также забочусь о домашних любимцах и люблю путешествовать.

Наша танцевальная группа выступала во многих городах Украины: в Ялте, Киеве, Одессе и Каневе.

Свое отношение к окружающему миру я стараюсь выражать в своих художественных работах. Несколько моих рисунков были выставлены на выставках. Мой взгляд на мир в художественных образах был отмечен призами.

Поскольку мы все - части окружающего мира, я очень нежно отношусь к "братьям нашим меньшим". В нашей семье очень любят двух морских свинок: Ричи и Сунычку. Кстати, черный по цвету Ричи получил свое имя в честь великого гитариста Ричи Блэкмора. Очень большое удовольствие я получаю от общения с животными во время их кормления. У нас получается очень веселый диалог.

Я постоянно пытаюсь расширять и украшать свой мир. Каждый год мы с семьей отправляемся за новыми впечатлениями, открытиями и знаниями в самые разные уголки нашей страны и даже за рубеж.

Величие гор Северного Кавказа и Крыма, ласковые Черное и Средиземное моря, спокойствие и мудрость лесов Карпат заставляют нас с любовью и уважением относиться к окружающей нас природе.

Early spring days, when nature us awakening from it's winter sleep, I prefer going to different parks in my city. First I walk, a while, then I usually sit on a bench and admire the trees which start getting green. I happen to see different species high up to the trees. Or jumping on branch arouse my admiration. It is here in the park.

Modern schools give us all the technical opportunities to use them for our education.
But does this circumstance have negative sides?
Let's take a little bit more determined look at the problem of computers at school and whether they should or shouldn't be banned.

On the one hand, computers at schools are neccecary, that's for sure. Informatics' classes, presentations and other aspects of multimedia innovations
(not that it counts as innovations currently, but still), electives & other extracurricular things. On the other hand, using school public computers
for your own business, which has nothing to do with school itself, must be limited. First of all, internet access. Social networks and most importantly sites
with m-rated content need to be banned at the computers which are used by pupils (same for teachers and administration, but that would be too impertinently
for that kind of composition :D). Secondly, i see no point of using computers between classes, but that could be okay with teachers permission. Not only
computers are what we should worry about, though. Wi-Fi at schools needs to have a password, too. Because, well, does sitting on vkontakte while classes help a
learning process? I don't think so.

In conclusion, I can say that computers have to be at school, but must use only in educational aims.

I find it very difficult to be optimistic. To tell the truth I have applied for 130 jobs in the last two years and it's always the same story. Come back when you've got a bit of ex­perience. I mean, how can I get experience if nobody wants to give me a job?

   Just a note to say thank you for a lovely day yesterday. If was really very hard to get back to work after such a relaxing time. Delicious food, good company, a beautiful garden - it really felt like a mini-holiday.Kids had a great time too, and are still talking about the dog and the pool. Would you like to come over to us next weekend? You could come for lunch on Saturday or Sunday, and we could go for a walk in the hills afterwards if the weather is good. Looking forward to seeing you all next weekend, and with a lot of thanks again for yesterday.

    The man had a row with his wife. This made him leave home later than usual so he drove to work very fast. While he was going round the corner, the dog ran across the road. The man stamped on brakes,the car skidded (the road was in a  very bad condition),the man lost control of his car and crashed into the lorry which was parked on the double yellow line.
